On 24th of August, the CEO of Apple Inc. Steve Jobs, resigned from the company.
Jobs has been suffering from pancreatic cancer for many years but now he is going through its last stage.
He said that he was going to be the one who will report everyone about his death before anyone else and know one was expecting that this day would actually come.
The company was established in 1976. In 1984 the company started to have a boost in economy after the release of the first MACINTOSH computer the most advanced PC of that time.
After that the company became popular and greatly benefited. Thanks to Macs, Pixar was developed. The company used these macs to make great films like Toy Story, Finding Nemo, Shark Tale, WALL-E etc.
In 2001 the iPod was released and made a huge fortune for Apple. Due to iPod, the iPod Touch(2006) came out and gave birth to iPhone(2007) which gave birth to iPad(2010).
The company became super-hit and made all things all powerful and fast.
The iPhone 4 was released in 2010 being the most advanced smartphone of its time also the most sold phone in the world (over 50 million sold from July 2010- July 2011).
The iPhone 5 was scheduled till July 2011 but it has still not been released.
Concepts, rumors, designs etc were flooding around online.
Everybody later expected it to come in August or September until they heard the sad news.
After his resignation Jobs handed the chairmanship to Tim Cook.
